In his tenure, the department of Animal reproduction (Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Andrology and AI) was established. He was a in-charge of AI and Cattle Sterility scheme of then Bombay State. He has held post of HOD as well Associate Dean Bombay Veterinary College.

He has received Gold medal from Vice President of India for research in Ayurved on cattle infertility. In his tenure, Postgraduate and Ph.D programme started in the discipline of Animal Reproduction. The First edition of Text book ” Reproduction in Farm Animals (Theriogenology)” was published in his tenure.

He has held post of HOD as well Associate Dean Bombay Veterinary College. in his tenure “Network Programme on Embryo Transfer Technology in Animal Production”. and three Ad-hoc schemes worth Rs. 30,00,000/- sanctioned by ICAR New Delhi. The second edition of Text book “Reproduction in Farm Animals (Theriogenology)” was published in his tenure. Ph.D by course work was started from 1995. Small animal Clinical work pertaining to Gynaecology in BSPCA hospital, Mumbai was initiated by him. This department in his tenure ran the OPD of Bombay Veterinary College. He has held post of HOD as well Associate Dean Bombay Veterinary College, Director of Research as well as Director of Extension MAFSU, Nagpur.
