Objectives

The performance of the any veterinary institutions is reflected through the type of clinical facilities and expertise developed among the professionals undergoing training / clinical services to sick animal/bird patients.
 
OBJECTIVES / Standard of services:
  1. To  enable students of the B.V.Sc.& A.H. degree courses / M.V.Sc. degree / Ph.D degree / Diplomas of the faculty of Veterinary Science to receive clinical instructions and training and to conduct research under the supervision of the Bombay Veterinary College, Parel, Mumbai – 400 012.
  2. To promote and encourage rational working in Out Patient Department and In-Patient Department of Hospital environment
  3. To provide veterinary skilled services of a medical, surgical, gynaecological and paramedical diagnostics (e.g. pathological / microbiological / parasitological / biochemical etc), curative and consultative nature of services to the sick animals.
 
BASICS OF SERVICES TO COMMUNITY:
 
  • ALL CASES BROUGHT TO THE Teaching Veterinary Clinical COMPLEX UNITS OF BOMBAY VETERINARY COLLEGE ARE EXAMINED AND TREATED AT THE RISK & REQUEST OF ANIMAL OWNER / ANIMAL HANDLER / ANIMAL ATTENDANT. 
  • ALL POSSIBLE CARE IS BEING TAKEN WHILE EXAMINING, HANDLING AND TREATMENT OF ANIMALS.
  • COLLEGE DOCTORS / AUTHORITY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY UNTOWARD REACTIONS OR DAMAGE TO THE ANIMAL(S) DURING HANDLING OR DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC PROCEDURE(S).
